The 2024 Nissan Pathfinder is for Families…and your Boat

Everyone talks about needing the perfect family car. But what isn’t mentioned is still needing a roomy family car for when your kids are grown and moved out. My husband and I have family that live about 3 hours from our home. So whenever we visit, our 3 kids and daughter-in-law all want to bum a ride with us. Why spend their gas money when mom and dad will pay?

The 2024 Nissan Pathfinder Rock Creek, which starts at $43,800, has plenty of space, 2nd-row captain chairs, and smart safety features at affordable prices. Making it the perfect SUV for a large family.

Don’t tell them this, but we secretly enjoy these times! Getting all the kids together seems to be more of a challenge the older they get. So, having a few hours in the car with great conversation and, of course, someone snoring in the back are days we cherish.

Roomy Interior that Big Kids Will Appreciate

Don’t touch me! Stay on your side! Turn down the AC! These are statements that, thankfully, we didn’t hear while taking a trip in the 2024 Nissan Pathfinder.

The second row is equipped with bucket seats, rear air control, and a center console with cup holders. The center console can also be easily removed, making more legroom for those in the 3rd row.

The 3rd row has legroom for two grown children, air vents, cup holders, and USB ports. On the back of the captain chairs is a button for the 3rd row of passengers to push that will make the chairs fold and slide forward, making it easy to climb out.

The Nissan Pathfinder is Fun to Drive

This SUV looks rugged on the outside, thanks to the all-terrain tires, tubular roof rack, and redesigned front grille, but on the inside is sleek and modern. Equipped with a 9-speed automatic transmission, the Pathfinder’s powertrain makes for a strong and quick acceleration.

The seats are made of leatherette, and the front driver seat has 10-way power with 2-way power lumbar support. The seats are incredibly comfortable, and I appreciate the 10-way power seats because I prefer to sit a little higher when driving.

Equipped with an 8” touch-screen display, the multimedia system is compatible with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Wi-Fi Hotspot, and other apps that we are all accustomed to.

The gauge cluster is simple to navigate from the steering wheel, making it easy to control the settings while keeping your hands on the wheel and your eyes on the road.

One of the most underrated features in a vehicle is a place to store a handbag! Thankfully, the center console had enough to store my small purse, as well as a small cubby hole at the bottom of the console for additional storage. With a car full of people, added storage is a must-have.

The Nissan Pathfinder Packs a Punch

A fun feature that the Pathfinder has is the Drive and Terrain Mode switch. Depending on the situation and road condition, you can easily switch between standard, sport, eco, snow, sand, mud/rut, and tow.

I wish I had an opportunity to drive off-road in this SUV. On the highway, this bad boy has some power and is smooth to drive. I can only imagine how it rides when splashing through mud and cruising over hills. The off-road tuned suspension helps eliminate all the bouncing around when off-roading or driving on pot-hole-ridden roads.

Towing Capacity of the 2024 Nissan Pathfinder

Whether you are an adventure seeker wanting to tow your toys or a soon-to-be empty nester, this is a great option. The 2024 Nissan Pathfinder has the towing capacity to load up the trailer with all of your child’s belongings and move them into their own place or haul your boat for a day on the lake.

The towing capacity is 6,000 pounds, which means drivers can tow things like travel trailers, boats, and storage trailers.

News flash: Children always come back and are still needy, no matter their age!
